The eastern Costa del Sol

The east section of the Costa del Sol is relatively new to property buyers. In the past many buyers concentrated on the main resorts around Marbella, Fuengirola and Torremolinos. Nowadays more and more people have discovered the beauty of the Costa del Sol on the eastern side.

For those of you not so knowledgable about the eastside some of the resorts will suddenley sound very familiar. As you head east from Malaga you will go past many smaller coastal areas and exits that will take you off into the country and inland areas. The first major resort is Rincon de la Victoria, which is the start of an area called "La Axarquia". As you continue east you will pass Velez Malaga on the left and its coastal counterpart Torre del Mar. Further east you will come to Torrox Costa and finally Nerja.

Property for sale on the Costa del Sol west tends to be slightly lower in cost than the main western resorts. Things in this area are slightly more relaxed and slightly more authentic. For these reasons it has become a very popular place for people looking for property for sale.
