Holiday resorts in the Marbella area
The Marbella area stretches for a long distance providing many miles of golden sandy beachs. Being one of the main holiday resorts, you will never be short of things to do in Marbella whether it be during the day or at night.
Guadalmina
Strarting in the western most point of Marbella is the resort of Guadalmina. Many golfers will be familiar with this resort as it has some of the finest golf courses on the Costa del Sol. There is a small commercial centre with some shops, cafes, restaurants and bars as well as a good choice of hotels and apartments for rent. Guadalmina in really spilt into two parts eitherside of the main road. Guadalmina alta is where you will find the golf courses and lots of apartments. Guadalmina baja is the beach side where again you will find many apartments and hotels.
San Pedro
Next is the very Spanish town and resort of San Pedro de Alcantara. The town centre is full of shops, bars and restaurants and even the odd hotel. There is a busy commercial centre just outside of the town just before you get to Guadalmina where again you will find many shops and restaurants, including a McDonalds.
Puerto Banus
After San Pedro Alcantara, although there are many hotels and small commercial centres lining the route, the next main resort is that of Puerto Banus. Here you will find some of the best shops including a host of designer outlets, some of the best restarants and of course some of the most luxurious night clubs and bars.

Nueva Andalucia
On the otherside of the main road (mountain side) from Peurto Banus is the resort of Nueva Andalucia. Again there are many shops, restaurants, bars and hotels in this area as well as a vast choice of apartments for rent.
Marbella Central
Moving east the next town is Marbella Town itself. As you would imagine this has probably the largest choice of restaurants and bars to be found anywhere on the Costa del Sol. A real treat is to visit the old town of Marbella where time seems to have stood still.

Elviria
Elviria is about 15 minutes from central Marbella and is a popular base for many holiday makers. There is a commercial centre, some great beaches and it is home to the famous Don Carlos Hotel and Nikki Beach.
Puerto Cabopino
This ia another popular destination for holiday makers and the port area itself has a commercial centre with some shops and restaurants. The port is very pretty and although not on the same scale as the luxurious Puerto Banus, it still has that cosmopolitan feel to it.
Calahonda
This is really the last holiday resort of the Marbella area and has one of the larger commercial centres. On the beachside there are many apartments and hotels which are ideal for holiday rentals.
